A seasonal menu celebrating artisan produce

Our menu celebrates exceptional ingredients from our sister farms at Daylesford Organic and Wootton estate alongside seasonal produce from British growers and producers.

If you’re feeling peckish, settle into one of the comfortable nooks in the bar, or dine in the bustling Saddle Room where you’ll find a menu of pub classics, wood-fired pizzas and seasonal specials.

During the warmer months, while away the afternoon in our sun-soaked walled garden.

The Pub

The Fox was built in the seventeenth century from local stone likely to have been quarried from the fields around Oddington. It has been recorded as a pub since 1856. By 1862 The Fox had five rooms, a parlour, shop, carriage house and skittle alley.

Original features such as the mullioned windows and impressive ironstone barrel-vaulted cellar can still be seen today. Look closely and you might uncover evidence of witch marks carved in the seventeenth century to ward off evil spirits when the witch craze swept through England.

This week we hosted our annual Mark The Card supper club, kicking off Cheltenham Festival with a rousing evening of seasonal food, tipster sessions and a live DJ set.

With thanks to our team and guests who made it such a fun event, and of course a special shout out to Charlie Brooks and our racing experts - trainers Nicky Henderson, Willie Mullins, Charlie Longsdon, Martin Keighley, Ben Pauling, Graeme McPherson and Charlie St. Quinton on behalf of Fergal O’Brien, with Jonjo O’Neill and AJ, alongside jockey Colin Brown.
