Coachman’s House is a spacious four-bedroom self-catering farmhouse opposite The Fox. An open plan kitchen and living area with a large inglenook fire provide the perfect setting for entertaining larger groups.
Each of our six characterful bedrooms are designed with a nod to equestrian influences, with a spacious Coachman’s House opposite for larger groups. Unique antiques and locally crafted furnishings were sourced to create a home-away-from home, with organic cotton bath robes and towels, as well as mattresses, toppers and pillows of the finest quality.

With high ceilings and striking architecture, The Master’s is located in the eaves of our historic 19th century inn, featuring a beautiful handmade four poster bed.
Inspired by a fox den, this ground floor, dog-friendly room with a luxurious four poster bed has a private terrace looking out over the walled garden.
With exposed Cotswold stone walls and thickly woven rugs, this characterful room is split over two levels, clamber upstairs to collapse into your cloudlike pillows.
Filled with natural light and looking out over a wildflower rooftop, this botanical inspired room includes floral Hugo Guinness illustrations screen printed on natural fabrics.
A wild berry inspired colour palette is beautifully referenced throughout the Hedgerow, including the headboard upholstered in fabric exclusively created for The Fox by artisan block print makers in Jaipur.
Drawing inspiration from the British countryside, our family room is spacious and filled with natural light, with a king size bed and twin beds for children in a second connecting bedroom.
From our monthly pub quiz and weekly live music nights to seasonal festivities, we’ve got lots going on. You can also sign up for craft and floristry workshops at Daylesford Organic Farm, enjoy restorative treatments and classes at the Bamford Wellness Spa, take a course at Daylesford’s Cookery School, and discover other menus and seasonal food at Daylesford’s cafés and our sister pubs.
Kicking off the weekend with ‘B the Pollution Solution’, a cocktail created to mark Earth month. And thanks to our friends at Sapling, every cocktail you sip means a new tree planted.

Fox on the beach 🦊🌊 Plating up on the seafront using fresh seafood from the world famous Brixham fish market.
This week our chefs visited seafood partner @kingfisher_brixham on the idyllic Devon coast. We soaked up the sea air as local day boats and trawlers arrived into the quay, and were shown around Kingfisher Brixham’s depot where our fish is prepared and sent to The Fox from boat to pub within 48h.
