Join us for a Festive Fox Getaway

We are looking forward to roasting chestnuts and drinking Fox Chocolates in our Winter Garden Pavilion mixing celebratory cocktails and stoking our log fires in preparation for the festivities ahead.

Whether you are staying in one of our pub rooms or Coachman’s House, our four bedroom farmhouse just over the road from our pub, you are sure to enjoy a trip to remember. Relax in our pub rooms, enjoy delicious food and raise a glass or two by the fire in our bar.

Enjoy walks in the surrounding countryside and make the most of the variety of activities for all the family including the Bamford Wellness Spa, festive cookery at Daylesford Cookery School and an exciting calendar of seasonal events including the hotly anticipated wreath making workshops. The hardest part will be deciding what to do first.

Select Friday 22nd December 2023 as your check-in date and Sunday 24th December 2023 as your check-out date to see all available rooms for a pre-Christmas stay.

Alternatively, select Sunday 24th December 2023 as your check-in date and Wednesday 27th December 2023 as your check-out date to see all available rooms for our 3 night Christmas stay.

Christmas Day Lunch

Join us for a Foxy Festive Feast this Christmas Day.

The lunch will begin at 1.30pm with a glass of fizz before an indulgent Christmas lunch prepared by Executive Chef Alan Gleeson, Head Chef Taylor Jones and the team.

Canapés – 
Duck liver parfait – Tuna tartare – goat curd tartlet
Black treacle soda bread, Daylesford Organic butter
Smoking Brothers Oak smoked salmon, crème fraîche, pickled cucumber, Oscietra caviar

Slow cooked Daylesford Organic Turkey, duck fat and thyme roast potatoes, pigs in blankets and all the trimmings

A taste of Christmas pudding, Brandy custard

Valhrona Manjari chocolate Delice, crème fraîche

Stilton, sourdough crackers, fig & port chutney, served on the bar

Coffee, tea & mince pies

Beetroot tartare – Rosti & black garlic ketchup – goat curd tartlet

Baked flower Marie, filo pastry, pear, chicory and walnut salad

Pithivier of celeriac, kohlrabi and black truffle, garlic and thyme roast potatoes, figs in blankets and all the trimmings V

Live Music Thursdays

Join us every Thursday night from 6.30pm – 11pm in the pub for live music with our local resident DJ’s.

Enjoy a festive cocktail in the bar and sample our pizza and bar snack menu from 5pm – 9pm.

Happy Hour

Wednesday and Thursday every week, 5pm – 7pm.

Join us for your favourite seasonal cocktail, artisan ale or draught cider.

Winter Garden Pavilion

Join us for chestnuts roasting on an open fire pit and hot chocolates overflowing with marshmallows; our winter garden is a cosy winter hideaway.

New Year's Eve at The Fox

See the New Year in with a celebratory evening of live music, a delicious seasonal feast and festive cocktails.

The evening will begin at 7.15pm with drinks and canapés in the Bar Parlour before we head into the Saddle room for a delicious dinner prepared by Executive Chef Alan Gleeson, Head Chef Taylor Jones and the team..

Live music from our resident DJ will keep party spirits high as welcome the New Year in.

The evening costs £95 per person plus a welcome drink. We recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment.

Country Walks

With over 2,000 acres of organic farmland to explore, venture on our signposted walks to Daylesford Organic from The Fox to discover the surrounding Cotswold countryside, or keep on walking for a pit stop at The Wild Rabbit in Kingham.
